Under the captaincy of Ashwin, Punjab is really in right touch. Currently, they are same in point with Chennai and Hyderabad, but they are above Chennai and Below Hyderabad on the second spot of the point table due to NRR. Till now they have lost their only match against Kolkata Knight Riders. KXIP is also packed with the batting depth.

Chris Gayle is in the superb form; he was injured and couldn’t make his way to the last clash against DC. Till now there is no official statement on him. Sam Curran is one of their costlier buy, who is showing his worth from the clash with MI, which also continued to DC. He was the man of the match against DC. Mayank Agrawal is leading their middle order batting attack with a good touch.

KIXP is featured with a mixture of pace and spin bowling attack. Shami is their leading space attack. Skipper Ashwin is not in good with his spin attack, but he was in right form against DC by taking two wickets.
