This pandemic has hit almost everyone. Cricketers across the world have also been affected. Indian cricketers would have been playing the final stages of IPL 2021 if the tournament was not postponed due to the pandemic. Indian cricketers are all at home now, and looking forward to the England tour where they will play the World Test Championship final against New Zealand from June 18 and the subsequent 5 Tests against England. Virat Kohli raising funds for Covid-relief

The Indian captain joined forces with his wife and Bollywood actor, Anushka Sharma, to raise funds for Covid-19 relief. They posted a video requesting fans to donate generously for the cause. Later, Kohli posted a post, stating they have surpassed their target, and raised over Rs 11 crore for the cause.

Shreyas Iyer is a “work in progress”

Iyer had to miss IPL 2021 due to a shoulder injury. But he is currently rehabilitating post the surgery. He posted a video of undergoing training at home. He captioned the post, stating it is a “Work in progress.” He also posted a pic of his pet dog, calling it “My Pom Pom”.

Ishant Sharma is training at home

Ishant shared a pic of himself and his wife near a vaccination centre, thanking all the Covid workers, and requesting “all get vaccinated at the earliest.” He also posted a video of himself, training at home, stating, “The body achieves what the mind believes.”

Pant, who is the new rising star of Indian cricket, posted a video where he is seen mowing his lawns at his home. He said it is a “forced quarantine break but happy to be able to stay active while indoors.” Later, he posted a photo where he is seen getting his first dose of the Covid-19 vaccine.

Sehwag doing something special for the society

The former Indian opener is doing his bit for society. His ‘Virender Sehwag Foundation’ is giving free home-cooked meals to Covid-19 patients, and Covid care centres in Delhi. His foundation has also tied up with a pizza outlet to deliver the meals.

KL Rahul is “healing”

The Punjab Kings captain who recently had appendicitis surgery posted a picture where is seen with his pet dogs at his house. He captioned the post saying he is “healing”. As per last reports, Rahul is fit to board the plane to England for the WTC final and England Tests.

The Indian bowler, who got married recently to sports anchor Sanjana Ganesan, shared a family picture as they spend quality time at home during the pandemic. Bumrah also shared a pic of himself getting vaccinated.

Umesh spending time with his 4-month-old kid

The Indian pacer, who became a father recently, shared a picture of him holding his kid, but ensuring the child’s face was not visible, and wishing the baby, “Happy 4 months, my angel”. He is enjoying his time at home, playing with his kid. Later, he posted a pic of himself getting vaccinated.
