On Friday the high flying Kolkata Knight Riders will meet Royal Challenger Bangalore at M. Chinnaswamy Stadium in IPL 2019. KKR is in superb form and had suffered only one lose whereas, RCB is still winless and sitting at the foot of the point table. Can KKR will make RCB to maintain its losing streak or RCB will bounce back to give a shock to KKR?
RCB vs KKR Head to Head Stats
If we look at the head to head stats, then KKR has a clear edge over RCB. Till now they have played 23 matches, and KKR has won 14 matches, and RCB has won in 9. At Bangalore, they met ten times till now, here also KKR has the edge with six wins.
RCB so far till now
So far, the current season is not that good for RCB. Having the most destructive batting depth, they are still winless now. Except for the match against MI, they have suffered very comfortable defeat against the remaining team. They have two world-class batsmen Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. Virat is still unimpressive. AB was good against Mumbai Indians but was very bad against the rest of the team.
Bowling worry of RCB
The real worry for RCB is its bowling department. RCB is the dearer team in bowling attack in death overs. The experienced fast bowler Umesh Yadav has failed to show his magic till now. Perhaps he is becoming costlier is sparing runs. The bowling attack is over-dependent on Chahal.
Batting failure of RCB
On fast bowling, Siraj is performing on average. Moeen Ali is also not that impressive with bat and ball till now. On their last encounter with Rajasthan Royals except for Parthiv Patel and Marcus Stoinis no other batsman was in good touch. Hetmyer hadn’t impressed with his bat in a single match also. On bowling attack, only Chahal was seen stopping RR, but others couldn’t and let RR win by seven wickets.
KKR so far till now
On the other hand, KKR has played three matches till now and are performing extremely well. KKR is a well-balanced team, and the players are in great touch in this season. On their first encounter with the strong Sunrisers Hyderabad, they had comfortable victory with Russell effect. Then they had an easy victory against KXIP.
The inform KKR has failed to defeat Delhi Capitals on their last match. The match was so close that, KKR had dragged the match till super over and they lost due to a marvelous performance by Delhi Capital’s fast bowler Rabada.
KKR’s Players Performance till now
In all three matches, Russell has performed as the savior. He is in superb touch both with ball and bat. In all three matches, he smashed the opponent perfectly. The skipper Dinesh Karthik is also in great form. On their last encounter with DC, Karthik had hit a half-century.
On the top order, KKR has Chris Lynn, who was not seen in action yet. Nitish Rana and Robin Uthappa are also in great form. KKR has one of the best bowling line up, but till now except Russell are not in good by performance. Sunil Narine and Piyush Chawla are yet to fire in this season.
Dream 11: RCB vs KKR
Sunil Narine was injured and couldn’t make his way in last match against Delhi Capitals. However, there is no latest update on any team till now.
Bangalore pitch is now as before batting paradise pitch. And with small boundaries you can expect run spree.
