Can RR Cross The Russell Bridge Against KKR?

After grabbing a marvelous victory from Royal Challenger Bangalore’s mouth, Kolkata Knight Riders is heading its way to Jaipur to face Rajasthan Royals at Sawai Man Singh Stadium. RR has tasted their first victory on their fourth match against RCB. And both the teams are meeting after beating RCB only. Let’s see who has a smile in Jaipur.

RR vs KKR Head to Head

By head to head stats, both the teams are of equal strength. They have played 19 matches with each other, and they have a tie with 9-9. One match was ended with no results. As per the current scenario, KKR has 6 points on the point table whereas, RR has 2 points. But, the players of both teams are in good forms

RR so far till now

After three defeats RR could finally register a victory against RR. With their first win now they are in high confidence and looking for their victory against KKR on the 21st match of VIVO IPL 2019 at Jaipur.

Jos Buttler

Jos Buttler is in good form at home ground. He has hit two half-centuries on both home matches. Till now he has scored 139 runs in four matches. On their last encounter, he scored 59 on 43 balls, while sharing fantastic partnership with Rahane and Smith with 60 and 44 runs respectively.

Sanju Samson has performed brilliantly with his bat. He had scored the first century of IPL 2019 edition. Currently, he is their leading run-getter.

On their last encounter with RCB, Shreyas Gopal was too good with the bowl as he claimed 12/3 and also a maiden over. Till now, he has the economy rate below six in this tournament claiming six wickets in total.

Jofra Archer has taken three wickets so far with a good economy bowling whereas, Ben Stokes is little expensive with the bowl, but has captured four wickets so far in this edition.

KKR so far till now

Andre Russell is in top-notch form throughout this season. On their last encounter with RCB, he smashed 48 runs on 13 balls and handed KKR a comfortable victory from a tough situation. He is in the third position till now in the race of orange cap by hammering 207 on 77 balls. He has hit 22 sixes so far.

He is not just their leading run scorer, but he is their leading wicket-taker with five wickets and two wickets more than his nearer team mates Piyush Chawla and Kuldeep Yadav.

Including Russell, KKR has many good batsmen. Nitish Rana is in superb form by scoring 169 runs in four matches with two half-centuries. Sunil Narine and Chris Lynn were doing some power punch and the skipper Karthik has a one-half century on this season against Delhi Capitals.

Sawai Man Singh Stadium is offering good wickets for batting. On the first match of this season, we have witnessed 185 runs. Dew will play a vital role in the match.
