Yet again, RCB has miserably failed to even set a fighting comeback against the home side, SRH here in Hyderabad.
With the blistering opening partnership between the two centurion openers, David Warner and Johnny Bairstow, SRH stood tall and high that RCB had already psychologically lost it.
Johnny Bairstow, playing his first IPL season, seems to be in love with it and was found obliterating the bowlers in all parts of the ground. He made a blistering 113 runs, which later was found to be higher than the total of complete RCB team.
David Warner, on the other hand, continued his run-getting habit for SRH and made a quick-fire 100 of 55 balls.
The Afghan spinner, Mohammed Nabi grabbed four top-order wickets to ensure that the team had buried the winning expectations.
The take on the mode of both Warner and Bairstow proved to be the game changer. The way they took on every bowler right from their first ball ensured that the bowlers never settled.
The availability of two top quality wickets taking leg spinners with the SRH was the major plus.
The fire in the opening has never come up with Parthiv Patel in the top order and will continue to remain as the bigger worry for the RCB.
Can RCB ensure that they get the best for their fans in the upcoming matches? Do we have still a setback to see upon?
